Amanda Malyurek has been an integral part of Gillette College’s Nursing Program since 2006. She holds an M.S. in Nursing Education from the University of Wyoming and has been a Certified Nurse Educator since 2010. Amanda primarily works with nursing students during the Chronic & Acute semesters, drawing on her background in adult care gained from working in acute in-patient and home health settings.
Amanda is highly regarded by her colleagues for her leadership and mentorship skills. Her extensive knowledge and experience have enriched the quality of the program and produced exceptional graduate nurses.
“Amanda has a high affinity for planning and development. Her ability to create and implement curricular changes in tandem with nursing governing bodies is unparalleled,” said Lindsay Wakefield, Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Amanda’s dedication to her students and colleagues is immeasurable, and her drive, focus, and commitment are evident in everything she does. It is no wonder that some of her former students are now teaching alongside her.
