Industry Safety Instructor Vince Davis, Recognized as Staff Spotlight for September
Vince Davis, Industry Safety Instructor and Virtual Reality Program Lead at Gillette College, has been nominated for the September Staff Spotlight. The nomination comes from Travis Grubb, Dean of Career and Technical Education, and Jim Stratton, WY MSHA State Grant Program manager, in recognition of Vince’s outstanding contributions and dedication.
Vince Davis joined Gillette College as an MSHA Instructor in January of 2023 and has since taken on the lead role for the WY MSHA State Grant program VR program. Under his leadership, Vince has implemented procedures that enable the effective creation of VR programs, significantly enhancing the provision of nationally recognized mine training programs. His commitment and innovative approach have exceeded all expectations, considerably impacting the college and the industry as a whole.
