Book Advising Appointments by your Student Type

If you have never been enrolled in a class at Gillette College or haven’t taken a class in the last 12 months, you are considered a NEW student. You can only register with the Professional Advisor.

You are currently enrolled in classes at Gillette College or have taken at least one class in the last 12 months. You can register for classes online with your faculty advisor or a professional advisor.

You are currently enrolled at a high school in Campbell County or home-schooled and are taking credit for both high school and college credit. You can only register for classes with Geneva Wickham, Student Outreach & Enrollment Specialist. Questions? Contact Geneva.

If you have any holds on your account, they must be resolved before you are able to register for classes:

  • Library
  • Business Office
  • Judicial
  • Orientation

Once resolved, you can register for classes online or with your faculty advisor.

Your grades have dropped below 2.0. You can only register for classes with the Professional Advisor.

In order to maintain eligibility, you can only register with the professional advisor.

Currently enrolled at a high school in Campbell County or home-schooled and are taking credit for both high school and college credit can only register for classes with Geneva Wickham, Student Outreach & Enrollment Specialist. Questions?

New students in programs that are NOT Technical Careers or Nursing are advised by the Professional Advisor.

New students in Technical Careers programs (Diesel, Electrical, Machine Tool or Welding) are advised by the CTE Professional Advisor.

*Per Procedure for Policy 5000.3J: The US Department of Education (ED) requires Gillette Community College District (GCCD) to establish, publish and apply Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. SAP standards are used to monitor academic performance and progress towards a degree.
