Welding Technology
The Gillette College Welding Technology program is designed to prepare students for success in a number of career pathways. Our small class sizes and experienced faculty give students the individualized attention they need to succeed. Our students also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on projects and internships. If you are interested in a career in Welding Technology, Gillette College is a great option.
The Welding Certificate program prepares students for entry-level work in welding. In addition to gaining an overall understanding of welding machines, weld processes, and hands-on proficiency, students develop skills in the areas of print reading, welding symbols, weld inspection, and destructive and non-destructive testing. Students also gain important knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for weld qualification. The Certificate program transitions seamlessly to the AAS degree program without loss of credit or time.
