Adult Education & Hiset/GED
The Center for College and Career Readiness (CCCR) helps adult students (16 and older) prepare for the High School Equivalency Exam (Hiset/GED). CCCR also provides instruction in digital literacy, financial literacy, and work skills. In collaboration with the Department of Workforce Services and Vocational Rehabilitation, we assist with college referrals, resume building, and employment searches.
Our testing services include the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), career interest assessments, and learning styles inventories.

Our Services
Hiset/GED
For ages 16+
HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY
High School Equivalency helps students 16 and above to prepare for a high school equivalency exam. This leads to a certificate which equals a
high school diploma.
SAYL
(Skills and Academics for Youth Learners)
For ages 16–24
SAYL is a partnership between the Center forCollege and Career Readiness and Department of
Workforce Service (DWS). You will prepare for your High School Equivalency exam while also learning useful skills for the job market. DWS
offers incentives for completing your high school equivalency exam, as well as additional classes for financial literacy, digital literacy, and work skills. Furthermore, DWS will help with financial assistance for post-secondary education or training.

For ages 18+
The CCCR collaborates with several community partners, such as the Department of Workforce Services (DWS), Vocational Rehabilitation, and TRIO. These partnerships support all learners with economic, employment, or academic barriers.
