Our Story
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, is the largest honor society in higher education with nearly 1,300 chapters on college campuses in all 50 of the United States, plus Canada, Germany, the Republic of Palau, Peru, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the British Virgin Islands, the United Arab Emirates, and U.S. territorial possessions. More than 3.8 million students have been inducted since its founding in 1918, with over 250,000 active members annually.
Our Mission
To fulfill our mission, we focus on recognizing and encouraging the academic achievement of college students while providing opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service, and fellowship programming.
PTK SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE
Attention, all students! The Phi Theta Kappa scholarship application is now live, and you DO NOT have to be a PTK member to apply! PTK offers scholarships for students who intend to transfer to a 4-year college as well as students who plan to enter the workforce once they graduate from Gillette College. Visit the link below for more information and to apply for these scholarships. Please be aware that you may need a letter of recommendation for the scholarship(s).
