Dr. Martin Fashbaugh, Dean of Arts & Sciences at Gillette College, has proudly nominated Lisa Arhart, an esteemed English Instructor, for the Faculty Spotlight of September 2024.
Lisa Arhart has been a dedicated instructor at Gillette College for 19 years, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to excellence in education. She holds a Master of Arts in Literature from the University of South Dakota and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Southampton College of Long Island University.
Dean Fashbaugh enthusiastically commends Instructor Lisa Arhart for her exceptional contributions to the college community, stating, “Instructor Lisa Arhart is a dedicated educator who cares deeply about her students’ academic progress and has shown great concern for their well-being. She is skilled at getting students to appreciate writing as a series of steps, making writing papers in her composition classes seem less daunting to students who are less confident about their writing.”
