Concurrent Enrollment Program

Gillette College, in partnership with Campbell County High School, Thunder Basin High School, Westwood High School, and Wright High School, have created an opportunity for students in grades 9 -12 to earn college credit while still in enrolled in high school.  This program allows students to graduate with a college degree or certificate at the same time they are graduating from high school.

In order to participate in the Concurrent Enrollment Program prospective students need to complete the following:

Meet with your high school counselor to select possible courses.

  • For English and mathematics classes, students are required to submit their ACT or Accuplacer test results in order to be registered.
  • English 1010 – Reading ACT score of 18 or Accuplacer Reading score of 255.
  • Pre-Calc Algebra – Math ACT score of 23 or Accuplacer Math score of 240.
  • Calculus – Math ACT score of 27 or college credit for successful completion of Pre-Calculus Trigonometry.

Must be submitted at the beginning of the CCSD Academic Year in your high school classroom.

A registration form must be completed for EACH Concurrent Enrollment Program class.

Dual Enrollment Program

Gillette College, in partnership with its local service area high schools, offers junior and seniors the ability to complete courses, either online or in-person, at the college campus.  Courses may be transferred back to the high school to fulfill graduation requirements.  Participating students are eligible to enroll for 6 credit hours during their first semester.  If they earn grades of “C” or higher, students then have the opportunity to enroll for up to 16 credit hours in subsequent years.

The Board of Cooperative Higher Education Services (BOCHES) offers a scholarship which covers the cost of tuition.  The cost of books and supplies are the responsibility of the student.

Meet with your high school counselor to select possible courses and principal to obtain necessary signatures.
